(VOVworld) - The eastern Mexican state of Yucatan hopes to attract Vietnamese investors. At a recent meeting with Vietnam’s Ambassador to Mexico, Le Linh Lan, Yucatan’s Governor Rolando Zapata Bello urged local agencies to work closely with the Vietnamese Embassy in Mexico to promote bilateral cooperation and connect their businesses.

Ambassador Lan said the Trans-Pacific Partnership, which is in the final stage of negotiations, is expected to further stimulate Vietnamese-Mexican trade ties. During her trip to Mexico over the past 3 days, Ambassador Lan cut the ribbon to open a local Lotus Festival, where the Vietnamese Embassy introduced Vietnam’s traditional products made from lotus seeds and lotus-themed handicrafts.
