At a working session with the Standing Board of the Party Committees of Nam Dinh, Ha Nam and Ninh Binh provinces on Monday, General Secretary Lam stressed the need to effectively unlock the potentials, advantages and complementarities between the three regions of the new Ninh Binh province.
He requested the prompt completion of the arrangement of the apparatus into the two-tier local government model, ensuring effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and smooth operation.
“Re-devise the socio-economic development strategy for the new Ninh Binh province in a systematic, scientific and long-term vision. First of all, it is necessary to review the entire current status of economic, residential, urban and industrial space, thereby determining the driving force and zoning functions in the new administrative-economic space. Closely follow the practical situation, work out a master plan for the new province coupled with the strengths of each region.”
Development must be harmonious, so as to ensure social security, social progress, preserve identity, protect ecology and use resources effectively, for a sustainable, balanced and humane future, the Party leader added.
