According to Phung Khanh Tai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Hanoi and HCM City will hold candle-lighting and incense-burning activities to pray for COVID-19 victims. Pagodas and churches will toll their bells at 8.30 pm and thousands of floating lanterns will be released in remembrance of the deceased.
