(VOVworld) – On Saturday, Hanoi hosted an exchange with historical witnesses on the occasion of the city’s Liberation Day on October 10^th.

Participants reviewed the days when they jointly fought for independence of Vietnam and Hanoi and expressed their delight at the development of the country and Hanoi.

Presenting gifts for 300 historical witnesses of Hanoi’s Liberation Day

Nguyen Manh Hai, a former member of the advance party of the General Staff, says: “I’m luckier than many other comrades to be alive until today and have an opportunity to attend this program. I’m glad because our country has developed much more and the caring for those who sacrificed for the nation has been much better.”

A similar event was held in Ho Chi Minh city the same day.
