Measures against spam and harmful information increased in Vietnam

(VOVworld) – On Sunday’s TV program “People ask, Ministers answer”, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son said the Ministry has helped the government issue many anti-spam regulations and is trying to create clearer anti-spam information.

(VOVworld) – On Sunday’s TV program “People ask, Ministers answer”, Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Bac Son said the Ministry has helped the government issue many anti-spam regulations and is trying to create clearer anti-spam information.

Last December the Ministry released instructions for detecting and blocking spam and securely managing online information.

Minister Son praised the domestic media’s role in fighting reactionary propaganda.

Strong measures have been implemented to manage prepaid mobilephone cards and content service, develop technical systems for spam prevention, and increase inspections and punishments for violations.
