In just two days, Friday and Saturday, the death toll from Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip reached 115. Since the beginning of the war in October, 2023, Israeli strikes have killed more than 64,800 people, injured over 164,000, and left thousands missing. Gaza health authorities affirmed that most of the casualties are civilians, with children and women making up the majority.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have not commented on the new casualty figures released by the Palestinian side but confirmed that operations against Gaza are ongoing, with a focus on Gaza city.
The IDF also stated that tens of thousands more Palestinians have evacuated from Gaza city in recent days, bringing the total number of people who have left the largest urban center in the Strip to about 250,000, equivalent to one-fourth of Gaza
