(VOVworld) – Mali’s President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita stressed the need to be on high alert for terrorism, one day after the attack at Radisson Blue hotal in Bamako capital, killing at least 20 people. Mr. Keita said Mali will not shut down because of this attack and terrorism will not win.

Islamist extremists armed with AK-47 rifles and grenades stormed a hotel packed with foreigners Friday in Bamako capital, killing 20 people and briefly taking scores more hostage. Mali authorities are now seeking at least 3 suspects of the attack. After the terrorist attack, Mali’s government declared 10-day state of emergency and 3 days of mourning for the victims.
