Despite constraints by the Covid-19 pandemic, the summit has gathered all state and government leaders of the ASEAN and representatives of dialogue partner countries. Vietnam has demonstrated its leadership in regional connectivity and responsiveness in the context of pandemic challenges and placing the ASEAN role and people’s interests at the center, said the Malaysian diplomat.
