(VOVworld) – Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said Sunday that Malaysia has pledged to continue the search for the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370, exactly one year after it mysteriously disappeared, presumably into the Indian Ocean.
Razak said Malaysia and its international counterparts have followed the little evidence that exists and remains committed to the search and hope that MH370 will be found.
The same day, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi voiced similar hopes on the sidelines of an annual meeting of China's parliament. Wang made the statement 2 months after Malaysia declared the MH370 case is an accident and all crew members and passengers, most of them the Chinese are reported dead.
A group of independent investigators that was established last April will announce a preliminary report in Kuala Lumpur on late Sunday. But there have been no signs that the report can reveal new information about the accident.
