Malaysia’s Deputy Transport Minister Aziz Kaprawi said the meeting will discuss whether to proceed with phase 4 of wreckage recovery process or continue with current search efforts led by the Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB).
He said a total of 103,000 square kilometers out of the 120,000 square kilometers of the designated search area at the Southern Indian Ocean have been covered so far.
He noted that Malaysia has coordinated with Mozambique to proceed with the debris which were said to belong to MH370 and requested Mozambique to inform them of any further discovery of debris there.
