Users who logged onto the Malaysia Airlines website were greeted with the image of a lizard in a top hat and the message: "404— plane not found", referring to the fact that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370, which disappeared last March, has yet to be found. Lizard Squad shut down the PlayStation Network (PSN) and Xbox Live network on last December using a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, a common technique that overloads servers with data requests. The Malaysia Airlines website displayed the message "ISIS will prevail" and the fake "404" error page. The website has now returned to normal operation.
