(VOVworld)-The Youth Union has granted Luong Dinh Cua awards to 300 outstanding rural youths during their festival in Thanh Hoa province on Saturday.

The annual prize is in recognition of young people’s excellent performance in production, business, environmental protection and building new rural area. Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh reiterated the Party and State’s support to the development of agriculture, farming and rural area called for more local efforts to help the youth: “Youth Union at different levels must encourage youth people to promote innovation and science and technology application in agriculture, forestry and fishery while building new rural area. They should be engaged more in socio economic development, especially in remote and mountainous region. The event aim to honor exemplary youth who succeed in generating wealth for their families and the society.”
