Hung Yen authorities take part in a tree-planting activity.

This year, Hung Yen province expects to plant 180,000 trees, most of them fruit trees. The tree planting movements will be combined with the building of new rural areas and plants restructuring for more economic benefits.

The same day on Friday, the northern province of Tuyen Quang held a boat racing festival in Lo River. This is an annual spring festival to uphold local people’s unique cultural identity.
