The festival will also include a singing competition, a culinary contest on dishes made from lotus, and a photo exhibition showcasing the life and revolutionary career of President Ho, a hero of national liberation, a world cultural celebrity and a historical figure known worldwide.
Performances of Vi-Giam singing, a type of traditional folk music practiced in the central provinces of Nghe An and Ha Tinh, along with traditional games, will also get underway on this occasion.
The festival has been held annually in Nghe An province since 1981, allowing people from all walks of life to come and show their love and respect for President Ho. It was postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and resumed last year.
