(VOVworld) - Businesses from the City of London are interested in Ho Chi Minh City’s infrastructure and health care, especially the new Thu Thiem urban area and the city’s public rail system, Alderman Fiona Woolf, the City of London’s Lord Mayor, told Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, on Monday. Woolf said the relationship between the City of London and Ho Chi Minh City is flourishing. She noted that London’s financial companies and bankers are giving Ho Chi Minh City’s metro projects financial and technical assistance.

Quan hailed the visit as a chance to bolster ties between Ho Chi Minh City and the City of London. He hoped for greater input on Ho Chi Minh City’s construction of the new Thu Thiem urban area and other ongoing metro projects.
