Localities celebrate CPV's 96th founding anniversary

(VOVWORLD) - On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), many localities across the country have organized activities to pay tribute to fallen heroes, hold commemorative gatherings, and present Party badges to Party members.

The Tay Ninh provincial Department of Ethnic and Religious Affairs and the Executive Board of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha in the province held a memorial ceremony for fallen heroes at Tra Vo Martyrs’ Cemetery (Thanh Duc commune). The participants observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the martyrs, and offered flowers and incense to honor their great sacrifices for national liberation and reunification.

Also on Monday, the Son La provincial Party Committee held a meeting with veteran revolutionaries, pre-uprising cadres, and provincial leaders and launched a political theory contest on safeguarding the Party’s ideological foundation.

The Party Committee of Vu Phuc ward, Hung Yen province organized a ceremony to present Party badges to 30 Party members, including two persons receiving the 65-year Party membership badge, seven receiving the 60-year badge, and five receiving the 55-year badge.
