(VOVWORLD) -The coaching staff of the Vietnam U20 women's team finalized the list of 23 players to compete at the 2024 U20 Women's Asian Cup Final in Uzbekistan.

The team arrived in Uzbekistan on February 22 and played two friendly matches with the home team, resulting in a 1-1 draw and a 4-1 win.

Team Vietnam are in Group B with defending champions Japan, runners-up North Korea and China. The Vietnamese players will face Japan's U20 women in the opening match of the tournament on Monday evening (Vietnam time), at Jar Stadium, Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
