Suzu City authorities said the remaining schools which are currently being used as evacuation or repair centers will soon reopen.
Relief activities are ongoing and involve all agencies, organizations, businesses, and people across Japan.
Many Japanese manufacturers of daily necessities have sent aid relief such as hand sanitizer, waterless dry shampoo, wet wipes, mouthwash, and sleeping bags to disaster-hit areas.
Fundraising activities have taken place nationwide to support the victims. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department on Thursday dispatched the “Kizuna Team”, a support team consisting entirely of female police officers, to Ishikawa to provide psychological care and crime prevention counseling services for those affected by the earthquake.
