The ruling came after Islamist legislator Abderrauf al-Manai and others boycotted a parliament session in the city of Tobruk in eastern Libya, saying the parliament is violating the Constitution by not meeting in the capital, Tripoli, or in Benghazi, Libya’s second largest city. Al-Manai called for foreign military intervention in Libya as Libya Dawn rebels captured Tripoli.

Libya’s Supreme Court recently approved a government led by Prime Minister Abdullah al-Thani, one of two rival governments in Libya.
