(VOVworld) - A car bomb at a military academy has left at least 5 soldiers dead and 10 others injured in the eastern Libyan city of Benghazi.
According to a military source, the attack targeted soldiers leaving a graduation ceremony.  No group has said it carried out the bombing.

Recently, attacks against Libya’s security and military forces have taken place quite often in Benghazi, which was the cradle of the 2011 uprising that toppled the 42-year rule of Muammar Gaddafi. The eastern region of Libya is home to anti-government Islamic extremist groups which have been equipped with various kinds of weapons. Meanwhile, the Libyan government has been unable to find effective measures to ensure local security.
