At Tuesday’s session, National Assembly deputies agreed that the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly should be revised for the Party’s resolution on streamlining the political system. 

“Full-time deputies should account for at least 40% of the National Assembly to improve the legislative body’s professionalism and effectiveness. It’s necessary to allocate between 3% and 5% of the full-time seats to experts and scientists,” said deputy Nguyen Son of Ha Tinh province.       

The same day, lawmakers debated revisions to the Investment Law.
