(VOVWORLD) - National Assembly deputies have stressed the need to roll out specific and breakthrough policies, and eliminate outdated or restrictive regulations to enable the private sector to “take off.”

Discussing a draft resolution on private sector development on Friday, lawmakers agreed that the draft has institutionalized key Party guidelines outlined in the Politburo’s Resolution 68, recognizing the private economy as a crucial driver of the socialist-oriented market economy. 

“Innovative startups require large investment capital and long development periods. Extending tax exemptions and reductions would create essential financial space for these businesses to focus resources on innovation,” said deputy Tran Thi Van.
