(VOV) – Deputies on the National Assembly Standing Committee will give opinions on a number of key bills at their 17th session due to open in Hanoi tomorrow/ on Tuesday. Among the bills are those on natural disaster prevention and mitigation, science and technology, and education on national defense-security.
They will examine draft amendments to the 1992 Constitution, the Government’s tax solutions to support business production, and the 2011 final State financial sheet. They will discuss tentative supervisory plans of the NA and NA Standing Committee for 2014, a lawmaking program for 2014, and amendments to the lawmaking program for 2013 and of the 13th tenure of the legislature. During the 9-day session, the deputies will also examine reports on implementation of the Thrift Practice and Waste Prevention Law in using Government bond sales for capital construction in 2006-2012.
