The law regulates state secret protection, international cooperation, prohibited actions, scope of state secrets, and classification of state secrets, among other practices. Head of the NA Committee for National Defense and Security Vo Trong Viet said: “The Law on Protection of State Secrets will be a legal document defining state secretes and regulations to protect state secrets. The publicizing of information which is stipulated by law needs adequately adjusted so as to prevent the publicizing of state secrets.”

The same day, the NA discussed the draft law on tax management.
