Law on belief, religions better ensures human rights
(VOVworld)- National Assembly deputies discussed the draft law on belief, religion in Hanoi on Friday. They agreed on the need to issue a Law to specify the right to freedom of belief, religion as stipulated in the 2013 Constitution and the International Convention on Civil and Political Rights that Vietnam signed in 1982. Most Venerable Thich Thanh Quyet represents Quang ninh province:“Belief and religious activities with foreign participation is a new aspect stipulated in the draft law on belief and religion in Vietnam. Foreign relations of religious organizations and individuals are being expanded internationally. This is also a channel to disseminate Vietnamese law on human rights and the right to freedom of belief and religion and to promote religious exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy”.

The deputies also discussed the revised Accounting law that day.
