The Dominican Republic's United Left Movement (MIU) expressed its admiration for Vietnam’s early preparations against the pandemic.

Their message said that, despite being one of the first countries in the world impacted by the pandemic, taking drastic actions right from the start, together with close cooperation by the whole political system and solidarity among the people, has limited the impact of the pandemic in Vietnam.

The Communist Party of Chile expressed its admiration of Vietnam’s measures to contain the spread of the pandemic, describing Vietnam as a role model for other governments.
