Late Party chief Le Duan honoured on his 115th birthday

(VOVWORLD) - A seminar held in Hanoi on Wednesday celebrated late Party General Secretary Le Duan, a steadfast Communist soldier and an outstanding leader of the Party and Vietnamese revolution, on his 115th birthday.

Participants reviewed the life, career, and outstanding contributions of Le Duan to the Party’s revolutionary cause and to the nation.

Le Duan, whose real name was Le Van Nhuan, was born on April 7, 1907, in Bich La Village, Trieu Dong Commune, Quang Tri province.

During his revolutionary activities, including serving as the First Secretary and then General Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Le Duan made important contributions to Vietnamese revolution.
