Vietnamese Ambassador to Hungary Nguyen Tien Thuc and local leaders were among the attendees at the opening ceremony.
The exhibition was initially scheduled to be held last year to mark the 70th anniversary of the Vietnam-Hungary diplomatic ties but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After being displayed in the pedestrian streets in District 4, Hungary, the paintings will be showed elsewhere in Budapest and other cities in Hungary to give the local people and visitors a better understanding of Vietnam, its land, people, and culture.
