The Paxason newspapers reported on the meeting chaired by Vietnamese and Laotian Prime Minister where both leaders pledged to strengthen the special traditional cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. The Vientiane Times wrote that this was the first time the joint governmental meeting was co-chaired by Vietnamese and Laotian Prime Ministers, reflecting their commitment to a successful implementation of bilateral cooperative plans.
