The meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party’s Central Military Commission on Sunday marked Kim’s first public appearance in three weeks.

Set forth at the meeting were new policies for further increasing the nuclear war deterrence of North Korea and putting the strategic armed forces on a high alert operation, said KCNA.

Discussions also centered on building and development of the armed forces of North Korea.
