The recognition was announced at a ceremony in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang on Wednesday. Di ke is a comprehensive stage art combining folk music, dance, and recitation of the Khmer people in O Lam commune, Tri Ton district, An Giang.
It not only contains exceptional artistic value but is also closely tied to the formation and development of the Tri Ton region.
Di ke is often performed in the courtyards of villages or pagodas to entertain the community after hard working days or on important festivals.
