(VOVworld) – Shimon Tokuyama, President of the Japanese Business Association in Vietnam, said that by October, Japan’s total direct investment capital in Vietnam had fetched 36.5 billion USD, topping the list of countries and territories to invest in the country.

(VOVworld) – Shimon Tokuyama, President of the Japanese Business Association in Vietnam, said that by October, Japan’s total direct investment capital in Vietnam had fetched 36.5 billion USD, topping the list of countries and territories to invest in the country.
Shimon praised the Vietnamese government’s efforts to amend the Enterprises and Investment Laws to improve national competitiveness.
He noted that to prepare for the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement, it was necessary for Vietnam to develop auxiliary industries with priority given to the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the provinces.
