At the Steering Committee’s 20th meeting on Saturday, the Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Health to guide ministries, sectors and localities to review COVID-19 prevention and control; review relevant legal documents to make appropriate adjustments; develop a sustainable control plan for COVID-19 in the new period.

He said the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control will be restructured to match the new situation.

On behalf of the Steering Committee, PM Chinh thanked the timely leadership and direction of the Party, the support of the National Assembly, the engagement of the whole political system, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, other socio-political organizations, compatriots, soldiers nationwide, overseas Vietnamese and international friends for joining forces with Vietnam to overcome the pandemic.
