The event is part of celebrations of 45 years of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Italy, according to Italian Ambassador Cecilia Piccioni at a press conference on Thursday.

The fair will introduce Italian wine and food, Italian fashion design, and music shows performed by Vietnamese and Italian singers.

In response to the third Italian Cuisine Week now being held around the world, the Italian cultural center in Hanoi will host a wine sampling on Friday.

A gala dinner will also be held next Thursday featuring several signature dishes of Italy.
