(VOVworld) – On Thursday, the Israeli High Court ordered the return of the bodies of nine dead Palestinians held by Israeli security forces following requests from their families.

Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud said that though the court didn’t mention an exact date for the hand-over, it’s expected to take place before the holy month of Ramadan in June.

Israel is holding the bodies of at least 19 Palestinians killed since last October. These people are accused of participating in or attempting to conduct attacks against Israeli citizens and soldiers.
