(VOVworld) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a cabinet meeting Wednesday to discuss ways to stop the escalating violence in the areas between Israel and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Yaalon voiced a stern warning against Hamas and other armed groups operating in the Gaza strip. Meeting participants also talked about the West Bank, where an Israeli policeman was recently stabbed by Palestinians and a bomb went off in a bus.
