Israel for the first time grants family visits to Palestine's prisoners

This move on Monday were part of an agreement reached in May to end the hunger strike by 1.600 Palestinian prisoners demanding better detention conditions. A spokesman for Israel’s prisons service said that 40 people, families of 24 prisoners, arrived a short time at the Ramon prison. Permission has been given to similar weekly visits.
