The Al-Tash region 120 kilometers west of Baghdad was liberated from the IS on Tuesday.
Iraqi tribal fighters seized IS positions in the center of the strategic city of Fallujah, roughly 69 kilometers west of Baghdad.
The Iraqi army took control of the Al-Hitaween region south of Fallujah, and Iraqi fighter jets carried out precision strikes against terrorist hideouts in the town of Al-Karma, 48 kilometers west of the capital, killing scores of terrorists.
