(VOVworld) – Iraq’s Army on Sunday retook control of a military airbase outside the town of Tal Afar in the northern province of Nineveh, after conducting several air strikes on Islamic State positions there. Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni issued a warning about Italian-nationals who are IS militants, saying they will be serious threats to national security when they return to Italy. He called for strengthening security measures and supervision at border gates.
