On Sunday evening, a strategic facility in the Israeli port city of Haifa was hit by an Iranian missile. Seven buildings in Haifa were damaged, many cars burned down. Initial reports said at least 15 were injured in the Haifa area. The capital Tel Aviv also recorded loud explosions, but the extent of the damage is unknown.
On Sunday afternoon, Iran launched its first daytime airstrikes on Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles. In total, on Sunday from early morning until nearly midnight, Iran launched at least three major attacks with 120-150 missiles targeting Israel.
The Israeli Air Force has continuously launched airstrikes targeting Iran, including the capital Tehran, using fighter jets and UAVs.
Explosions occurred in Tehran and surrounding areas, but the extent of the damage is unclear. Israeli media confirmed that many car bombs exploded inside Tehran, killing more Iranian nuclear scientists. The commander of the Intelligence Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Mohammad Kazemi and his deputy Hassan Mohaqiq, were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tehran on Sunday.
