150 experts and scholars and representatives from ministries and sectors provided their insights, emphasising the significance and outcomes of the implementation of the Law on National Border over the last two decades and the Law of the Sea of Vietnam in the 10 years since it came into effect, and affirming that Vietnam's laws regarding territorial bounderies are in line with international law.
There were presentations by scholars and experts from Belgium, the Republic of Korea, Japan, and Australia, who agreed on the importance of international law and proposed measures to harmonise national border laws with international law.
