(VOVworld) – An international workshop on water and health in urban areas has been held in Thua Thien-Hue province over the past two days. The meeting attracted scientists from Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Laos. The workshop focused on ecological health and ways to better detect health risks relating to water in urban areas. The participants introduced new technologies that would improve environmental assessment, research on environment and health in urban areas in Thailand, Indonesia, and Laos and discussed the outcomes of research in Thua Thien Hue province.
