(VOVworld) – An international meeting entitled “Deploying UN peace-keeping troops” closed in Hanoi on Friday after 5 days. Addressing the closing ceremony, Senior Colonel Hoang Kim Phung, Director of the Vietnam Peacekeeping Center, hailed the event as a step forward in realizing issues agreed previously, boosting American and Vietnamese defense cooperation in UN peace-keeping activities. He reiterated that Vietnam would do its best to fulfill its UN peace-keeping mission.
