(VOVworld) - The International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and Mangroves For the Future (MFF) will co-sponsor a mangrove protection project in Nam Dinh province. The two organizations will provide 20,000 USD to help local community learn to use aquatic products sustainably in the mangrove forests of Xuan Thuy National Park. The project will include surveying and assessing current aquatic product exploitation by the local people and building a new mechanism to increase shared responsibility in using aquatic products in wetlands.
