Themed “Marine tourism, the strengths of Vietnam’s tourism”, the event aims to turn the tourism of Da Nang city and the Central region into a leading center in Vietnam and the region.

Doan Van Viet, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, asked the tourism sector needs to make greater efforts in the future for stronger recovery and competitiveness in the region.

“Localities and businesses should promote market re-connection, cooperation, and formation of new products, attract and exchange visitors between localities and destinations, improve the tourism workforce, and innovate promotion activities. This way, Vietnam's tourism industry can develop sustainably and become a spearhead economic sector," said Viet.
