(VOV) - Vietnam's Defence Minister Gen. Phung Quang Thanh received Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Deputy Minister of National Defence of Indonesia, in Hanoi on Monday. Thanh said the Ministry of National Defence of Vietnam will send a delegation of senior officers to Indonesia to share experience in developing the defence industry. He also proposed that the two countries’ militaries increase the exchange of delegations at all levels, especially between their young officers. For his part, Sjamsoeddin said that Indonesia has established a training centre for its peacekeeping force and is willing to share its experience in the field with Vietnam.
