(VOVworld) – Vietnamese ambassador to Indonesia Hoang Anh Tuan paid a courtesy visit to Vice President Jusuf Kalla this week.

He expressed delight at the steady development of bilateral ties in politics, economics, trade, education, investment, and security and defense cooperation. Vietnam and Indonesia established strategic partnership following President Truong Tan Sang’s visit in June, 2013.

Ambassador Tuan said 2016 promises new opportunities for Vietnam-Indonesia ties now that the ASEAN Community has been established. He pledged to contribute to promoting relations between the two countries during his term of mission.
