(VOVworld) – Minister of Marine Affairs and Fisheries Susi Pudjiastuti said on Tuesday that Indonesia will sink at least 30 foreign vessels detained for conducting illegal fishing in the Indonesian waters.

Minister Pudjiastuti emphasized that the government did not grant special privileges to any country as it treats equally all vessels found conducting illegal fishing in Indonesia. Several foreign vessels had been detained on suspicion of conducting illegal fishing activities in the Indonesian territory. These vessels will be sunk on July 9
th and 10
th.
