(VOVworld) – An India-Vietnam business forum has opened in Ho Chi Minh City. Pankaj Kapoor, Chairman of the Haryana Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said on Wednesday that Indian businesses now often choose Vietnam as a destination, investing in the establishment of joint-ventures. He added that Vietnam needed to improve its specialization and integration capacity to attract the Indian business community. The delegation from Haryana hopes to meet and directly talk to companies in Ho Chi Minh City to choose the best with which to become involved in long-term projects. Two-way trade between Vietnam and India has rocketed over the past 10 years, up to nearly 4 billion USD in 2012. The figure is expected to reach 7 billion USD by 2015.
