The performances of professional artists and local amateurs made a strong impression. Kuroiwa Yuji, the Governor of Kanagawa, said:“Famous singers from Vietnam sang in both Vietnamese and Japanese and touched the hearts of the audience. Water puppetry, ao dai, traditional martial arts, cuisine, street food, contests involving Vietnamese students studying in Kanagawa, and activities to introduce famous tourist destinations in Vietnam created a colorful atmosphere. I believe the affection and mutual understanding between Kanagawa and Vietnamese people will become deeper and stronger.”

During the festival, there was an exhibition on Vietnam's sea and island sovereignty and a charity booth set up by Vietnamese students in Japan to help disadvantaged people in Vietnam’s remote and mountainous areas.
